I was at the hospital visiting a very good friend for my entire life, he’s entering hospice today. I saw a lot of masks on doctors, nurses, and staff. I can’t believe how many rooms had warnings to mask because of all the respiratory illness.
I was very nervous even with an N95 mask. I’m going to be spending a lot of time there, my germ anxiety is off the charts but I’m spending as much time with him as possible.
I don’t know how you doctors do it, thank you.

I just want to reiterate that I believe in medical freedom for every American to opt out of any and all vaccine mandates.
This includes vaccine requirements for children to attend school, sports, or programs.
Parents should not be scolded and children rejected for refusing vaccines for their children.
I never took any of the COVID vaccines and stood in the gap as one of the few in Congress against mask and vaccine mandates so much so my refusal to wear masks on the House floor led to them Speaker Nancy Pelosi fining me $2,500 every time I stepped in the House floor without a mask.
I was fined every day because I refused to wear a mask.
Going forward it’s the pharmaceutical companies that need to prove safety and effectiveness for their vaccines because they lost our trust after the massive amounts of Covid vaccine side effects and deaths that were IGNORED.
And even then, Americans have the right to say NO without being treated like second class citizens.
I try so hard not to let this shit get to me, but the fact is that the MAGAt extremists see me and my whole profession as “enemies of the people.” Look at how they treat the CDC and FDA for god sake. Silencing their public announcements, and RFK jr!? Really?!?! I wish I knew where this will end up, but I am probably glad I don’t. All I can say is I will not go down quietly.
