Germany has seen a jump in politically-motivated crimes. But what is feeding right-wing radicalization in young men? One of them shared his story with DW.

Cliff grew up isolated - and was pulled into far-right ideology online. While he never became physically violent, other young men do.

A way out of hate

But Cliff made it out: Today, he’s openly queer, in love with a trans man, and fighting against the hatred he once spread. His story reveals how toxic masculinity and digital radicalization are fueling extremism and hate among young men - showing the way out.

OMG, that is a depressing, but totally correct, read. Especially the part where they cite “one rule for the left, a different one for the right.” And it is only getting worse. And yet, it is the right the always cries about being “cancelled” or “silenced.” I cannot stand it.

Was listening to this:

They were talking about this:

And again I feel like I live in a really small bubble.

In April of this year journalist Jake Hanrahan published an audio recording of an interview he did with a “legitimate starred-up adherent of the Order of Nine Angles, a Satanic occultist movement that is influencing neo-Nazi terror groups across the world.”

I try to widen my fascist research bubble but it’s always Jake Hanrahan, Molly Conger, Robert Evans and rest of Cool Zone Media crew, Dan Friesen, Daniel Harper, Unicorn Riot, Bellingcat etc. I just feel like there aren’t enough people in the field.

And fucking Rundo has been freed.

I really need to go get more stickers to cover theirs.

Remember the Stormfront style guide that was leaked: use humour….

I suppose we miss it because they are never actually funny. What’s funny about bombing Glastonbury? Or shooting striking workers? As Monbiot points out these are actual things that have happened already and they weren’t very funny.

The modern British police force was modelled in Ireland by Peel as a violent strikebreaking force. Private security in the US when the Pinkerton were employed as armies of violent thugs to assault, brutalise, and murder strikers with impunity at the beck and call of capital.

I think really the story of the past ten years was people taking for granted 21st century liberalism was locked in and therefore you could just kinda be fashy for a laugh only to realize a moment too late Skinhead Steve wasn’t joking after all.

I don’t think they’ve realised it yet

Three reasons have been provided for the large-scale, aggressive police operation: nature protection, camping violations, and that an anti-fascist camp represented an immoral approach to the memorial.

Well, if you are a fascist, i guess an anti-fascist camp help at an anti-fascist memorial would seem immoral. But i think this is not the way they wanted this viewed. In fact, i suspect they did not want this reported at all.

It’s all true - the nans were planning up to forty Nine-Elevens. We talk about the wave of (largely) pensioner arrests this weekend and what it means for civil liberties, the homelessness minister doing a landlord whoopsie, and then we read an article about what it’s like to be gentrified out of your neighbourhood as a 0.1%er.
