The problems of the Republican Party

There are exceptions for barrenness and adultery. Of course, only a woman could be barren, and only a woman could commit adultery, so maybe not?

I hope she takes him to the cleaners, and I hope the press provides all the sordid details. Paxton deserves to be destroyed like a slug dropped in a bowl of salt.

That can’t be true – rules about divorce might not have been at all equal, but Jesus still talks about a man committing adultery in the passage I just quoted.

“ Fed up residents. Dangerous overnight waits. Alleged corruption. That’s what attorney Michael Pizzi says Florida drivers are facing at the DMV.

Pizzi is spearheading a $10 million class action lawsuit against the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles and the Tax Collector offices in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, claiming residents are being forced to wait in line for hours — with some even camping overnight — just to access basic DMV services.”

Making government worse on every level is their goal.

it is a real mess at the florida dmv.
people do wait outside the Miami-Dade dmv for hours and may not get in, even with an “appointment”.
meanwhile, an hour-or-so south of Homestead, the Key Largo dmv is a quiet, yet busy local office. so much so that they have had to declare that only Monroe County residents, or persons who can show proof that they work in the county and commute from M-D county can utilize the office. otherwise, they, too, would be inundated and local service would suffer.
it’s a state office, is that fair? i don’t have an answer to that, but i wouldn’t want to have a traffic nightmare as hundreds of drivers needing dmv services clogging the 18 mile stretch or our one way in - one way out overseas highway.
it sucks, but florida just needs to add more services to the mainlanders.
am i just NIMBY? i’ll leave that judgement to you.
