A.S. This isn’t about anything here. It’s about the fucking news, and the fucking laws.

It may not be important, but I am absolutely sick of the way people keep using “Vandal” as an insult and accusation. Yes, it’s written in the law-codes and the dictionaries. I think that makes it worse.

I think equating ethnicities with accusations is a bad habit.

I suspect it also makes it harder to understand history.

I get that “Amalek” may be more relevant now. It’s used against one group now, to call for extermination, and used against another group in the past.
