Now I kind of wonder if he get denied tenure for reasons other than his principled stance on Israel and Palestineā¦ Itās always been understood as a denial based on that, and I have little doubt itās factor, but heās not the only vocal critique of Israel and others have gotten tenure despite thatā¦

Iāve never understood the whole ālifelong medical patientā issue. Lots of people are in that situation, but itās trans people they take issue with because they think itās a choice. Itās not a choice, and trying to deny it does more harm than injecting myself once a week.

Everyone is a lifelong medical patient- exams, flu shot, seasonal allergies.
If youāre not getting regular medical care- youāre neglecting yourself.
