As inconceivable as it may seem, Iām finding that there are people who voted for Trump that really did not know the kinds of things heās been saying for the past several years. (Yeah, Iām reminded of Brexit.) Now theyāre surprised to find policies heās getting ready are going to hurt them or loves ones and we hear the cry of āWhy didnāt someone tell me?ā Apparently that common clay of the west was plugging up their ears.
I donāt get how anyone could be that ignorant of events, but I guess for a lot of people if it doesnāt harm them directly they donāt pay attention until itās too late. There are those that pay attention to nothing else except he has that (R) after his name on the ballot.

ā¦and Jesse Singal is trying to invade Bluesky, and many of us are badgering their Mods to ban his ass. Heās outright said he wants to ācolonizeā the space, and heās openly urging his followers on Xchan to make accounts there.
He did get suspended (not for long), and had his posts tagged with āIntoleranceā several times, but the changes keep getting reverted. The last time I checked, his account was still up (though I blocked him so I canāt see anything he posts.)
Cis people have joined in the calls for the ban in solidarity with our trans sibs; even I did, and I donāt post on Bluesky all that often.
