That story about her 5 year old says a whole lot more about her inability to parent than about drag or trans people.
Kiddo wouldn’t even have clocked the drag performance as anything unusual unless her parents taught her that and the idea this performance had any bearing on her own body would, again, only exist if her parents had taught her that
At 5, the only thing my kid ever had to say about someone in drag was “wow! What a pretty dress!”
definitely an easy block; and why is she interested in what goes on in the bathrooms to begin with? I’m there to void waste materials and maybe check and adjust my clothes in the mirror after washing up.
And then people wonder why trans folks have anxiety going to the restroom in public places…
(and as usual it’s all about trans femme folk- I can only assume that trans masc folks have it slightly better, if only because men typically don’t chit-chat in the bathroom. )
Mother of moles, I just tracked down that account on the non-work machine, and my brane hurtz now.
Because it’s always the TERS checking on people’s naked bodies in the restroom. Which means peeping into stalls. Which means they are gross people and incredibly creepy.
The only time I care who is in a stall in the restroom is when I am trying to figure out where my daughter went. Which generally just entails calling her name. Because, again, peeping into stalls is creepy!
ETA: assuming this trash is telling the truth about having a child and that child’s reaction to some drag on 30 Rock- I feel really bad for that kid. What kind of harmful nonsense is she pouring into that child’s head?!
I hope she’s lying and doesn’t have a kid at all.
ETAA: also, why is a 5 year old watching that show anyway?
That’s fascinating. I have trouble with the tones in Chinese and don’t know how to make half of the consonants in Hebrew and Arabic. I wonder what special European tongue deformity I inherited?
Honestly everything makes so much more sense now that I realize that it’s all genetic. The reason some Asian people have trouble with sounds they’ve never practised before is because they have a glossal flap. The reason African-Americans are so much more common in jail is because police have a macular mutation that makes non-melanated skin nearly invisible to them. The reason TERs are so obsessed over bathrooms is a cephalic deformity where they develop gonadal tissue in place of a cortex. Maybe we can treat them with CRISPR…I’m willing to see what it does, anyway.
Oh no. It gets worse. How can she be worse?! Racist and transphobic (while claiming she supports trans people) and now celebrating the deaths of children.
I probably shouldn’t be surprised. She can other her own damned children and every trans woman. What is a few more children?
I have big issues with what Camp Mystic represents and their own racism. As well as the racism inherent in how those particular deaths are being prioritized.
But those little girls were innocent of all of that. They had the potential to be more and better.
Primary relationships education should be anchored in an understanding of
positive relationships, but should also equip children to keep themselves and others safe,
and to recognise and report risks and abuse, including online. This can be delivered by
focusing on boundaries, privacy, and children’s rights over their own bodies and personal
information. Pupils should be able to recognise emotional, physical and sexual abuse.
Even very young children can be equipped to understand what counts as abusive
behaviour and to trust their instincts about behaviour that doesn’t feel right. In addition,
pupils should understand about bullying, and that this can include the use of derogatory
terms relating to sex, race, disability or sexual orientation
69 is not nice.
Pupils should also be taught the facts and the law about biological sex and gender
reassignment. This should recognise that people have legal rights by virtue of their
biological sex which are different from the rights of those of the opposite sex with the
protected characteristic of gender reassignment. Pupils should also be taught to
recognise that people with the protected characteristic of gender reassignment, as with
the other protected characteristics, have protection from discrimination and should be
treated with respect and dignity.
Paragraph 72 is the new section 28.
Where schools decide to use external resources, they should avoid materials that
use cartoons or diagrams that oversimplify this topic, that could be interpreted as being
aimed at younger children, or that perpetuate stereotypes or encourage pupils to question
their gender. Schools should consult parents on the content of external resources on this
topic in advance and make all materials available to them on request as set out in the
section on openness with parents
Misogyny, homophobia and transphobia are OK if your God says it is
All schools may teach about faith perspectives on these topics. In particular,
schools with a religious character may teach their distinctive faith perspective on
relationships, and balanced debate may take place about issues that are contentious. For
example, the school may wish to reflect on faith teachings about certain topics as well as
how their faith institutions may support people in matters of relationships and sex.
Schools should be clear when they are delivering content that reflects religious belief
