b) the few people on that platform that I have connections to are all pretty decent, open minded people;
and c) I have a ‘block’ button and I know how to use it.
They never enforced it if they had such policies to begin with. Not much of a change except for some negative PR.

Or just to do 5 minutes of online research, which would inform you that your “concerns” about the fairness of allowing trans women to compete against cis women are unfounded.
I understand why it “feels” logical to many cis people. They have been conditioned by popular media, even in some cases by otherwise positive representations of trans women, to see trans women as men pretending to be women, or just as “super gay” men. And I can forgive this misunderstanding in random people in the general public, but in someone like Pete Buttigieg, who clearly still has aspirations to be President, it is unacceptable. He needs to be helping to dispel these misconceptions, not bolster them.
UVA stands for the moment. We’ll see what the effect of a new president will have after the orange asshat forced Jim Ryan out. What a fucking mess…

They just feel like they need to get right wing voters’ attention, because they rest of us don’t matter nearly as much as the votes of straight white cisgendered christian bigoted men. they can’t see past their own identity to want to understand that the rest of us are already suffering…

I’m including this here because it sucks, although it doesn’t appear that the murder suspect who barricaded himself inside the home was a member of the LGBTQ+ community, or that he chose to enter the home for any reason other than randomness. It is possible that the police, however, didn’t give a shit about damaging the house because of who famously owns it, but it’s also possible it’s just normal police bullshit because the courts have consistently held that they can destroy a house if they feel they need to in order to arrest a suspect, and there’s not a damn thing the owners can do about it.
