Trump and Hegseth screwing over trans veterans on retirement benefits is an easy slam dunk politically for Democrats to flip the narrative on trans folks and that’s exactly why they’ll continue going on podcasts talking about how bigots have a point about sports.

Yeah, I don’t know how you (or any trans person for that matter) is still able to function… it’s insane just how quickly this is all coming down. It shocks me and I’m a historian who has read quite a bit on the rise of fascism in Europe… I know that shit happened fast, but to watch it going down… Living through history sucks sometimes.

… trans people will be barred from accessing toilets, gyms, and changing rooms that match their gender.
The guidance also bans trans men from female toilets on the basis that their presence would cause “alarm or distress”.
So if a trans man has to go to the bathroom I guess they can just… piss up a rope? JFC.

I just found out that my GP surgery has sent me a letter to sign that I can’t agree to. I mean literally.
They want to talk to a doctor who died ten years ago and for me to give them documents that are over 20 years old and didn’t make it down to Oxford when I had to escape. This is also the reason why I don’t have a GRC (not that it’s worth the paper it would be printed on anymore).
I can’t convince myself that revolution is a bad idea anymore, even after having listened to hundreds of hours of Mike Duncan.

Had my kid’s birthday party in a park next to a school today. Got there early to set up in a gazebo and found a Terfy “counselling, not hormones” sticker bang in the middle. At least no one else will be able to read it now
