Some chatter today on Twitter re: how Warren will do in Massachusetts. Mostly arguing over whether she’ll come second or continue in third/fourth.
Y’all get that the “home state advantage” thing is severely weird?
It might have made some sense back in ye olden days when only local candidates were familiar to the voters, but these days all federal politicians are national figures.
Why the fuck would you vote for somebody just because they’re from the same state as you? It’s hyper-parochial politics-as-team-sport nonsense.
