Less than a year ago.
But folks were very concerned that Bernie once endorsed one mayoral candidate who was shit on abortion (due to his orthodox Catholic beliefs) but good on most other things. A guy who’d held a position as a Democratic state senator for years, without a hint of objection from the party about his opposition to abortion.
At the same time as the party establishment were screaming “blue no matter who” and “no litmus tests” and themselves endorsing countless corrupt plutocratic warmongering racists (many of whom were themselves also forced-birthers).
The guy Bernie endorsed (Heath Mello) was competing against a Republican, BTW. Who was herself a forced-birther, endorsed by the right-to-life bastards.
And who listed this as her main campaign theme:
ACAB.
