Covid hot take:

  1. I think we’ve already established that I’m a science-based medicine guy, yes? I am not in any sense an antivaxxer.

  2. That said, I would be very hesitant to take any vaccine produced by the USA. It is very obvious that the vaccine development process is being heavily influenced by political concerns. This is not a recipe for good science; it’s a recipe for a mass public health disaster.

That’s an argument against early adoption of any technology produced by a corrupt organization or structurally corrupt industry. After the disasters and ridiculous levels of profiteering have been exposed, medical practitioners will have … the option of using their best judgment in using the treatment.
