I never said a hack couldn’t be credentialed. It’s part of the hack. It’s true I haven’t followed academic economists in a few years, but I’ve never heard of this guy, which means he has no ideas and just repackages corporate functions of econ. Of course he’s a textbook writer. They all are. Have you heard of Texas, source of all learning?

My understanding is that there is absolutely no reason to trust anything Rachel Dolezal says about anything, and good reason to assume that anything she says is a self-serving lie.
