Wanderthread Redux (Part 1)

Why the “but Trump is bad” arguments will not motivate working class people to vote for Biden:

The essence of the liberal argument could be summarised as “well, okay, you have been living in fascism for ages, but now Trump threatens to extend that treatment to us too. You have to vote for Biden so we can return to the situation where you suffered while we went to brunch”.

And, no, “you’ll suffer even worse under Trump” is not a good addendum to that. It’s a “vote for us or the bunny gets it” argument. Folks don’t respond sympathetically to threats.

It is entirely rational and reasonable for the working class to take the position of “fuck you bastards; if we burn, you burn with us”.

The libs had the option of gaining working class support by moving towards a world in which no-one lived under fascism. They chose not to.

They fucked around; now they get to find out.

Remember when the Dems pretended to give a shit about #MeToo?

Wilfully ignorant denial of the reality of fascism is just collaboration in disguise.
