Given that the Biden campaign has been based on “Trump is the source of all evil, but the GOP is a noble American institution that must be cleansed of his malign presence”, won’t it be fun if Trumpy dies and we get a Pence vs Biden election?
OTOH, if that happens they might just indefinitely postpone elections and form a government of national unity or some such horseshit.

Incidentally, I’m not hoping for Trump to die. Not immediately, anyway.
Because I think US fascism without Trump is more dangerous than US fascism with Trump.
Competence and subtlety are not virtues when deployed in the service of fascism.
