The last week on Twitter has heavily featured Jimmy Dore being (correctly) called out as a fool for attempting to manufacture a left/Boogaloo alliance. He’s been insisting that the Boogs aren’t fash because some of them claimed not to be.

A major reason why I did not identify as a socialist when I was a teenager:
At every protest I went to, there’d be assorted Oz socialist (Trots, mostly; ISO and the Spartacists) groups there. And it was always very obvious that they were primarily interested in hijacking the event for self-promotion rather than actually supporting the cause.
