The Cuban blockade is so transparently evil and stupid that only the most committed of the empire’s minions are willing to openly support it.
Even the pathetically subservient UK or Oz governments are unwilling to publicly associate themselves with that ridiculousness.
Also: with hindsight, the general historical consensus appears to be that the Nazi invasion of the USSR was always and inevitably doomed to failure.
So: why were US military authorities so confident that the Nazis would win?
