And Black Americans, at some point, are going to have to explain to the Global South why so many of them collaborated with the empire.
From the perspective of an Afghan or Vietnamese villager, the Black GI is not the oppressed one. Ditto for the Native Americans and Mexicans who faced the Buffalo Soldiers.
