Yeah. If someone is trying to get out of a shithole, conscientious human beings try to help them out, not push them back in. Trump’s using the idea that Haiti is a shithole as an excuse to push people back in. It is not an excuse!
Since he has institutional backing, Trump’s acts are normalized, but they are as anti-human and anti-moral as Leopold and Loeb’s.
