Aren’t Evangelicals supposed to be Biblical literalists?

Matthew 25:31-46 New International Version (NIV)
The Sheep and the Goats
31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.

Yes, she gave a speech and made a political joke. That’s why a huge chunk of people across all political affiliations should be focused on how the Clintons are still secretly and illegally controlling everything.

Reminder that Nina writes from an anarcho-syndicalist perspective.

And writing a book. And doing a national publicity tour for it. And giving a bunch of political speeches. And going on multiple publicised international tours. And endorsing candidates. And maintaining a PAC. Etc.

You can hold whatever opinion you like about the virtue of HRC as a political player, but it seems to me that denying that she is one is simply blind. HRC has not retired from political life, and does not intend to do so. She is not simply a private citizen.

Nah, most folks I listen to have moved on. There are relatively few still talking about the Clintons, most of it is just snark, and most of it comes from the Berniecrat crew. The radicals have bigger issues to talk about.

Ain’t nothing secret or illegal about the Clintons’ influence in the DNC, though. Their connections and status are well known, their financial influence over the party is public record, and US electoral systems are so messed up that it was probably legally achieved.

Magnitude is lost in most political conversations, But I have not seen any difference between before 2016 and after 2016 in how much Blame gets pushed onto the Clintons including rewriting the previous decade in history to fit the blame the Clintons camp. Out of several hundred posts on a subject about the DNC and it’s current state Obama may be brought up once or twice, let alone the power hungry individuals that ran the DNC into the ground that have since just been largely let off the hook.

The Clintons are the current “one bad actor” in the political establishment blame game, and basically are pretty comfortable there and don’t see their lifestyle hampered by it. There’s only a tiny amount more awareness than before, and if anything “both sides are equally bad” is more pervasive than ever.

It shows that when the Clintons participate, it’s with the same old mindset that thinks dad jokes and pandering are going to work the same as they did 20 years ago.

To be fair, that refers to a different sport (actual football, and not armpit-egg).
