Every time Americans do this “tragic loss of imperial soldiers, who cares about their victims?” schtick, the rest of the world takes note.

Could you expand to at least six characters? For the look of the bit? Otherwise you look how I want you to look in my head, which is a floating asterisk like W from Doonesbury.

How about “Obviously”?

I know that the Democratic establishment isn’t going to change their methodology, especially like they did leading up to 2006 - and especially not the Clintons who have basically been the same since the early 90s. I don’t think that it is entirely accurate to say that the same stuff that “worked” for the past 20 years won’t keep working though, even with several areas of the country making amazing progress in political change. Areas you would expect to see change like the Midwest are still doing what they always do voting-wise, and without a strong non-white voters push there hasn’t really been anything different in 2018 from 2016.

I mean, it’s like that Democratic state legislator making the hammer and sickle joke against Lee Carter. That image encapsulates the establishment as much as those pictures of people drinking champagne on a balcony and laughing at occupy Wall Street or the videos of rich people singing opera parodies about evading taxes from the 80s.

I remember seeing articles about Wikipedia editors basically all being insular and obsessive centrists, it was all over boing a while ago too. This sort of seems in line with that stuff.

Aparantly by “approaching half a dozen” they meant “two or three posts hysterical about Russia” which is odd to point out, because there are many more tweets about how black people are more violent than white people.
