There were already corporate media opinion pieces along the lines of “Trump may be crude, but he is nevertheless an immensely talented orator” being published during the primaries.
Give it ten years, and they’ll be describing him as a genius.

Quick Googling results in basically saying Hitler had a radio voice and extremely tight control over his public image with only a single recording of his natural mannerisms. Trump on the other hand has a persona that is a rich man pretending to be an average working man from Queens 24/7 and it doesn’t matter what recording or footage there is of him.
I’m not even curious who is claiming he has talent as an orator, because condense is that he sucks and has a limited vocabulary and relies on vocal ticks to get through every conversation. In ten years we will either have party allowed praise or he will be condemned, either way in 50 years his praise will have been gone completely. People have tried and failed the same with Bush, what works in rehibilitating an image is just making them look human - which the Nazis failed to do with Hitler because in 1940 eugenics said there was an ideal for humans that was a certain man while in 2018 the ideal individual bar slid extremely low.

For context, Tony Windsor was a centre-right Oz independent MP of long standing and relatively good reputation. Small-c conservative, generally seen as honest and sensible.

Seeing a fair few Twitter accounts recently that appear to be fascists pretending to be white socialists and acting like dicks.
OTOH, it’s pretty hard to tell those from the actual white socialists who act like dicks, so…
