The election is in two years.
It’s dumb, sure, but the disrespect of the act and the declaration is a pretty small part of the picture. How many have done 23-an’-adorable-me etc. and shared the results with friends and Facebook. This is something Midwesterners do.
And in two years no one will give a fuck.

Presidential, yes. The midterms are right now, though, and this fuckup is not helping with that. It’s yet another example of the establishment Dems’ incompetence.

But, sure, the Voting Rights Act’s coverage formula is “based on 40 year-old facts having no logical relationship to the present day.”
It’s just coincidence that all of these changes disproportionately restricting the rights of minorities to vote are being made in the same states that were doing the same thing in 1965.
