I got whacked by the fucking ants again today.

I get a full systemic reaction to any bite from these buggers; they’ve already put me in hospital once.

Itchy all over.

If you can, Benadryl and Zantac (ranitidine) are what they gave me in the hospital last time (three weeks ago!) I was in with an allergy attack. I was surprised by the Zantac, but the combo did work better than Benadryl alone.

I say if because I know you have your own unique issues. So if I am being unhelpful, I apologise. All over itching is the worst.

ETA: you guys just had to evolve an entire ecosystem out to kill everything else, didn’t you?

I carry antihistamines with me at work, and use them the instant I’m bitten. That’s why I’m itchy instead of hospitalised.

Mostly subsided now.

.

Did CorpDem head office issue a communique ordering all of the centrist media to simultaneously dump on the old baggage?

Animation warning. I don’t understand why news stories need animation to pop in from the side or the bottom.

Wherever you find inequalities of power, you will find abuse. The greater the inequality, the greater the abuse.

The zombie ant thing is rather politically resonant at the moment.

This conversation needs to be opened up to the fact that this is par for most state and local candidates who aren’t raving bigots. There’s a resume and a few vague statements to the effect that “I’m a good person and I care about people! You should vote!”

Also just interesting for its own sake; Indian martial arts are underappreciated.
