Never heard before Tina Turner song released a couple days ago.
I loved Tina Turner one of the very few people I regrets not seeing live.
This was written by Harry Vanda and George Young, older brother of Malcom and Angus.
It was recorded in 1984 and lost until it was released recently.
And what do critics know.
Music from the creative community of Theresienstadt.
The central work connecting all these episodes is the childrenâs opera âBrundibĂĄrâ composed in the camp by Hans KrĂĄsa. The plot in a nutshell: Siblings beg in the town square to raise money to help their sick mother. They are repeatedly harassed by a man named BrundibĂĄr (Bumblebee). All the children in the town band together, and with the help of a sparrow, a cat and a dog, ultimately chase him away. The children then address the audience with the closing lines:
âAnyone whoâs seen this game will understand the meaning. Resisting together breaks the power of evil. Goodbye to him! Greetings, God.â
Paul Rogers is one of our all time favorite singers. Weâve seen him a few times.
I came across this today.
Age 75, 11 strokes later and he still sounds great. Seagull is in my all time favorite play list.
This channel has some great classic rock stuff.
i seem to come back to this when i need to recharge and focus. gets me working again.
A lot of these I like because they take songs sung by men and re-record them with a woman singing them - something that was very much looked down upon when I was a teen.
ehhhh, i just triggered myself with thatâŚbeing laffed at cos I wanted to sing songs that werenât Linda Rondstadt or (eeeeeeeeeew) Steve Nicks, et al.
iâm so glad i have my therapist to encourage me.
