2018 U.S. election results, How'd you do?

Being a sore winner seems to run in the party.

reporting in from Nevada, and yep. that’s true. the party avoided him before he died, but after he died they realized that it was too late to remove him from the ballot, and if he won they would get to pick who took his seat, so they were quite happy to let him stay there.

aside from that, i’m happy that for the most part Nevada experienced the blue wave the rest of the country was hoping for.

Additionally, we voted to get rid of Daylight Savings Time; so we also have that going for us, which is nice…

I has a sad, because Beto O’Rourke was this close.
pinches fingers

But I has a happy, because in my honorary home state of Kansas, slimy Kris Kobach is out, and Sharice Davids, a Native American, is in (but not the same office).

Data from Ballotpedia
There are 125 KS House districts. I only included the one I voted in.

There were a couple of big wins, but things are still very much red in this largely rectangular state.

Nevada used to be, like, California’s crazy uncle with the gambling problem.

Not crazy anymore I guess

Still waiting for Arizona …

wellllll, i think it’s definitely a good thing. there are others here who feel the entire state is going to hell in a handbasket, and it’s all because of the californians moving here. i think it’s bullshit – change happens, and it’s not fair to put it all on people moving here from CA.
