The problem is that because corporations don’t make credible people, abstract movements have no inherent personality. It’s a limitation of both.
I’ve always been grateful for living close enough to Canada to enjoy & learn from their kids’ TV shows and for PBS, all before the advent of more than three major networks in the USA.
Addendum: Actually, PBS has been the fourth network, looong before Fox came about. OH wait, it’s not commercial-tv…but it was still better than the three.
