Last year, I tried making my own lip balm. I learned three things, the hard way.

It’s really difficult to make a good lip balm that looks good and feels good

Bergamot essential oil smells nice, but too much definitely does not

Don’t put a tin of home made lip balm in your pocket if you’ll be sitting under an electric blanket
But, at least I didn’t make the mistake of trying flavors like that!
