What I read there does sound like good news and I’d watch it. (Eventually, at least; I don’t watch a lot of television.)

I like that connection to the original series, the progress of character, and the focus being on a new generation of slayer. (Buffy as Giles? Hmm.)

The show’s writing was really great, independent of JW. Writers like Jane Espenson were key to the show’s snappy dialog and pacing, as well as subsequent shows like Angel and Firefly.
