It astounds me that they can do this - especially since they use fresh dough and decent ingredients.
Dismayed? Dispirited? Discouraged? Despondent? Disheartened? I have a feeling I’m narrowing in on it.
Despairing?
Disparaged?
Disposed of?
Disrespected?
Dispossessed?
Disciplined?
Displaced?
Disjointed?
Disemboweled?
Disreputable?
Dis-other-Table?
All the little Tables?
… But only one of those has a ‘p.’
P as in pterodactyl? (Loses something written out)
Well, the pepperoni itself is the biggest food cost there. The dough, sauce, and cheese cost literally pennies per pizza.
No p as in pneumonia.
On the plus side, monitoring is working well…
Still not sure about the cause yet.
Ah, brute force.
If it doesn’t solve your problem, you’re simply not using enough.
I call this the friendly hello.
Are the editing rules different now?
I’m going to change this post a few times to find out.
It is now 18:39 PDT
EDIT: it is now 18:40 PDT
ANOTHER EDIT: now it’s 18:41
It’s 18:42 and Discourse believes this post is “4m” old.
I was trying to reach directory assistance.
So the five-minute window for ninja edits is still in place.
Except I swear earlier today I saw a number and a pencil icon in the corner of a post I was messing with that was only a couple of minutes old
There is one more ninja-editing issue that might have changed.
I’m pretty sure it used to be the case that, even after the initial five-minute grace period was over, if one changed a post and then quickly changed it back to the way it was before, it would not count as an additional edit.
But I just performed such a pair of edits to my previous post, doing nothing but adding an extra a to the word place and then immediately removing it again, and now it’s got a pencil.
Was there an image in the post? If so, it was probably the edit by @system to host the picture locally.
I think that edit only happens at the 5 minute mark, though.
EDIT: i also don’t know why it says “May 6” on the right side, it’s the 7th both where i am and UTC
Were we bad again?
