i love it, but i am kind of bothered that he’s (hopefully accidentally) putting the notion of defunding (or reallocating funding from) the police on equal footing with the whackadoodle, bigoted conspiracy theory that democrats are drinking the blood of children. i’d say reconsidering how much money the police get is a far more rational notion than the latter.

Possibly, but I think it’s likely that the reporter who was so insistent that Biden answer the question of whether someone, somewhere, was a Democrat who supported defunding the police… was most likely fully intending to use his answer to claim that Biden supported the whackadoodle strawman of “Democrats want to remove all funding from the police and let the criminals run wild!!!”
