Even before watching, I think I can answer that:
Many White people are afraid of being negatively treated the way Non-White people have been since this country was first stolen from its’ Native residents.
Truly bigoted White people are afraid of being the recipients of vengeance/comeuppance for the hundreds of years millions of POC have suffered under the entrenched system of white supremacy that they have facilitated and embodied.

For real, even though that’s never been on the civil rights agenda for most Black, Native, Latinx, AAPI, etc Americans… But they (white bigots) can’t imagine anyone wanting to live in a world without supremacy… all they can imagine is a world of hierarchies, and if that’s how “reality” is, well, they better be on top then…

Once again, like Kimberly Jones said in her righteous 2020 rant, during the height of the George Floyd protests; They are lucky we only want equity and equality, not vengeance.
Sadly, a lot of Non-White assholes also cannot seem to imagine it; they just want to displace the overprivileged het-norm White males from the very top of the heap, so that they can take their place.
