Yup.
Dodged a bullet this time with regards to him, because the job he ultimately was going for (PM) is designated bilingual. His French isn’t good enough to get him through the debates, and that would kill him in Quebec.
Scheer is bad enough, but he’s not got quite the same media attraction and experience playing ringmaster. But if O’Leary is serious, and if Scheer blows the next election badly so the Cons call another leadership contest… The biggest difference between O’Leary and 45 is that O’Leary isn’t stupid to the point of incompetence.
