That looks contagious.
Or like way too many nipples
That’s where they went.
You might consider giving them a French press. My BF, a hardcore coffee fiend, loves his 3-4 cup French press.
Philip Marlowe always got compliments on his coffee, and those in the know also asked how he made it. They were surprised when he’d show them his French press - percolators were becoming increasingly popular at the time, but he loathed them.
Like any new kitchen gadget or appliance, they take a little getting used to, but the results are great.
Art created by yours truly, natch!

Thanks, I agree, and I do have one of my own for the rare times I drink coffee.
This person is working and drinking pots of coffee all day, so a maker is more in order. I might do this one; pricey, but I’m thinking recipient is worth it–
I gather that the insulated carafe is nicer than a pot sitting on a hot plate, since the latter makes the coffee become more bitter. This maker also has something I know the recipient will like-- very basic buttons.
Multipurpose gift idea, either for someone with a really good sense of humor, or someone you hate!
The biggest bottles of Neutrogena Rainbath you can afford make great gifts. The original scent - spices, citrus, vague floral hints, herbs - is unisex. There are other flavors now, too. The pomegranate smells great, and so does the pear and green tea. It makes heaps of persistent bubbles and doesn’t dry the skin.
I’ve only used the orig & pear/green tea. I am hypersensitive in um certain um areas, and they are non-irritating.
The original. Melitta. Since 1908.
Totally manual, totally controllable, and no more trouble than one you have to plug in.
He is looking like a tool there, but not a cool one.
WANT!!!
(Yes, complete sentence.)
A friend just mentioned he has a Moccamaster. It seems like it might be ideal.
Thanks, they look amazing, but the $ is ouch.
