Trans people at toilets, of course!
Consciousness. Not conscience.

Let’s just get a couple of things straight:
- Humanity catastrophically failed at keeping temperatures below 1.5ºC (this was a choice - we had the know-how and technology to avoid this)
- We are on the cusp of catastrohically failing at keeping below 2ºC (also a choice)
We are headed for 2.7ºC
Problem is, the consequences, which are piling up at this very moment, will remain in “potentially deniable” territory for quite a while. By the time FL starts to drown, it will be too late to do much other than mitigation. (There is a very legit argument that we crossed that line decades ago, but the further we go, the more difficult that mitigation gets.)
So about 5 degrees Fahrenheit? Whew!
I’m pretty sure that when Exxon did their 1982 climate prediction, 1.5 degrees was past the point that could be plausibly denied. Figures they would be spot on about how much damage they were doing to the world but underestimate how well they could hamstring the truth.
Kinda surprised to see MSM coverage of “Climate Change.” (IMHO, ABC is not too bad for Trump ass kissing, though) Never thought of VA as NE, but we are getting way more rain than our “normal” as well. Pushing 10" for July already. My garden is sitting water. My driveway is a pond. Usually, we are getting dry by now. Not so much now!
Wondered about whether this was fair, so went digging a bit more and found this:
The climate crisis is not a distant threat; it’s happening right now and affecting what matters most to us. Hurricanes intensified by a warming planet and drought-fueled wildfires are destroying our communities. Rising seas and flooding are swallowing our homes. And record-breaking heat waves are reshaping our way of life.
Not shilling for ABC, but this is pretty good coverage compared to what I see in other MSM sites.
Jesus…
Didn’t even need help from the Germans this time around.
