The museum in Houston hasn’t even asked for the damn thing and have no plans for how they would display it.

Under a tarp? You may be giving them too much credit. For decades the Houston space center kept their Saturn V rocket on display outdoors in a field with no protection whatsoever.

Passage in the House will probably happen because the GOP are all cowards, but it isn’t a done deal yet. The version that went through the House prior to these changes was passed 215-214. There’s still a chance to fight back on this.
