Huh. That makes me think that his publisher is canceling his book tour because they suspect that it won’t do well. (No sales.)
Maybe he should do town halls instead. Ya know, talk to your actual fucking constituents. Or is he just as afraid as his Repuglican counterparts to actually meet the people he represents.

I was thinking the same thing, but got hung up on the problem that it’s T****, Elno et al who are the organized crime gang.

The best way to do damage control is not to do any damage in the first place, Chuck!
The second best way is to not keep giving the people doing the damage an endless series of second chances.
The third best way is to not actively get in the way of the people who are trying to stop the damage.
Ok, I agree democracy is at risk. So what are you doing about it? And even more so, why aren’t you talking about it. Don’t give me a long speech - Trump has proven that the US doesn’t understand things beyond a high school level and most are lower than that. Message needs to be three words long. “Lock her up”, “price of eggs”, “but her emails”, etc etc etc.
The use of “liberal” and “progressive” as synonyms in that article drives me nuts. And it’s made worse by the fact that the article makes it clear that both moderates and progressives are aligned against Schumer right now.
About 20 minutes in, he sort of hints that he’s willing to throw trans people under the fucking bus, though not entirely. 
And then he pretends like he’s NOT doing that… God damn, these spineless assholes.
I went to Bluesky and watched the actual clip. Totally worth it. If looks could kill, Schumer would be a pile of ash right now. Sunny Hostin looked like she wanted to murder him right there on the set.
ETA: The other funny thing about that clip is the thumbnail at the bottom showing Alyssa Farah Griffin. Schumer had been talking about the need to fight Republicans, and then he turned to her and said, “Not all Republicans”, and that thumbnail was the look on her face, which seems to be giving serious “Don’t drag me into your mess” vibes.
Is it one of the explodey ones? Does anybody know the number?
