I wish more House Members would stand up to defend her.
They’re clearly trying to provoke an angry response that would allow them to censure her and possibly suspend her tenure; perhaps for her entire term.
Filing a complaint to the Speaker clearly won’t help her here. He’ll agree with Miller and that will be the required form of address in Congress for all trans people going forward. Congress members, federal employees and those giving testimony.
She ain’t the problem here.
