I’ve been having a hell of a time trying to get the internet archive to generate a preview, or a pdf. All that exists is a zip of images.
I’m tempted to just upload a PDF instead of the raw scans.

You can use pdftools to make one, if that still exists. Otherwise I just use Gutenberg.

Yeah, I just slapped together a PDF in Finereader, saved it as images only without MRC, and archive.org did its own ocr, ebook, etc,. Now, it’s not exceptionally accurate, but neither is my version of Finereader.
