I was born in Cold War, under a dictatorship, experienced hyperinflation, Saw the effects of the oil crisis, witnessed our currency changed by several governments 6 times, the seizure of the savings of ALL citizens, a coup attempt and a surge in crime and violence as I can remember.
Yeah, the last eight decades have been one hell of a millenium.
I think people have the impression everything is changing in a very fast pace. Maybe It is.

I know a racket when i see one
It feels too stupid to be called a racket. Trump’s entire premise is that just because the US is getting goods from another country doesn’t mean it’s fair to have to give them money. So this is inviting them to pay to keep open a market…that they aren’t allowed to profit from? Why would anyone bother? People want to sell things to the US, but nobody is missing the chance to export them for free.
The other sticking point is that if this was one country, or a couple they would not have much recourse. But this is a bunch of countries and collectively they can just get together and say screw the US, which they are.

IMO the look is all wrong (AI?): no “wife beater” or muscle shirt; haircut is recent and/or not a mullet; physique is semi-normal, neither meth-scrawny nor fast food-bloated; and there’s no Confederate battle flag imagery anywhere.
Also needs more scars and bruises.
