In Blacksad’s “Artic Nation”, the baddies are winter-colored animals (huskies, polar bears, a white tiger, a stoat…)

Includes household names like Gone Forever, Here Comes the Flowers, Lord Byron and Diogo Dias.

Diogo Dias, the portuguese explorer?

I’m having trouble parsing the full list

ETA: The spanish wikipedia entry did not mentioned it, but the english wikipedia says he was one of the first european to land in what is now brazil… and aparently did a sort of victory dance that made the natives less wary. Guess that explains it.

Does Byron has a secret relationship with brazil too?

EATA: Actually, the more I look at the list, the less sense makes for me:

  • Gone Forever is an album
  • Here Comes the Flowers is a song
  • Lord Byron is a Poet
  • Diogo Dias is an explorer

ok, I’m officially lost

Só do I. But It was a joke some people made almost 30 years ago.

The list of clowns from Brazil was a trolling op by two so called humorists, SOS Jorginho and Zambinos (who became part of the Bolsonarista troupe) on Wikipedia, in the late 2000s

The joke was this, they edited the entry “Clown” in the Portuguese version of Wikipedia and included the list, which remained there for a few years until a moderator removed it.

I feel identified with most of the diagram except “likes guns”. For that description, that sounds like “tankies”

Anyway, here’s another meme to steal:
