Earworms - I just can't get you out of my head!

Good to know, i checked and didn’t see it but i did skim so there was always a chance i would’ve missed it

My kids have learned never to complain that they can’t find trousers…

Edit: oh… from my “getting coding done while letting the ear worms keep the rest of my brain from :chipmunk: chasing…” playlist

Ani Kuni by Polo & Pan. I added this one to my For When You’re High as a Kite YouTube playlist and it works quite well for that purpose, but I love this one even when I’m not stoned!

I’ve been in a melancholy mood lately; this song scratches an itch I didn’t know I had.

This one tends to stick in my head after I hear it:

And for whatever reason, this was playing in my brain when I woke up today, and I don’t know why:

:notes: Get ready get set for imagination day. :notes:

Insert type of day expected… often a bit darker as an adult…

Yeah… that one wanders through my brain every now and then. It’s a shame TVO cancelled the show; my impression was it had legs. As a kid, though, I never did understand the talking to the doll sitting mute in the corner. It was a bit too “imaginary friend” for me.

Then again, my kid took it to the next level, taking an imaginary friend for ‘show and tell’ in kindergarten…

Woke up this morning with The House of the Rising son stuck in my head (The version of the song as performed by The Animals). I listened to some other interpretations of the song. Dolly Parton’s was kinda fun but the one by The Animals is the one that i really enjoy

I love the original, and also Freekbass’s take on it.
