Insert type of day expected… often a bit darker as an adult…
Yeah… that one wanders through my brain every now and then. It’s a shame TVO cancelled the show; my impression was it had legs. As a kid, though, I never did understand the talking to the doll sitting mute in the corner. It was a bit too “imaginary friend” for me.
Then again, my kid took it to the next level, taking an imaginary friend for ‘show and tell’ in kindergarten…

Woke up this morning with The House of the Rising son stuck in my head (The version of the song as performed by The Animals). I listened to some other interpretations of the song. Dolly Parton’s was kinda fun but the one by The Animals is the one that i really enjoy
