anyone who has ever encounted an octopus in the wild can tell you, they are amazing creatures, simultaneously shy and curious.
anyone who has ever been touched by an octopus will tell you it is like being given little kisses on your arm, or in exceptional cases, your cheek!

Octopuses are very cool, but the topic says eight or more, and their relatives deserve much more than just one dismissive remark about eating them. So here’s a neat clip of their special abilities.
(I doubt the crabs are actually hypnotized but probably they are completely unable to interpret what is going on.)
