Though I think he’s happier outside of it - he wants the power, the adulation, and if he can leave office and keep people in power who defer to him (in the ways he cares about), and they can prevent him from being prosecuted, that’ll be more than good enough for him. (Although destroying all the institutions could also ensure his safety, as there will be no one left in a position to hold him accountable for anything, afterwards.)
We’ve gotten so used to lack-of-class in our public officials that it’s refreshing to see real class again.
“The threat posed to women by Trump’s cabinet is real; the threat posed by Sarah McBride is imagined. And yet one draws Republican applause, while the other draws ire. As I posted yesterday, ‘I look at this incoming government and all I can see is rape.’”

Of course, that’s exactly their eventually goal… start going after trans women and then target all of us… and the fact that so many high profile republican women are going along with this (in fact, leading the charge) just shows that these women either endorse their own second class status or believe that they will be spared somehow and allowed to stay in power…
"If a woman doesn’t look woman enough to a Republican, they want to be able to inspect your genitals to use a bathroom? It’s disgusting.
Everyone should reject it completely… they’re endangering women, they’re endangering girls of all kind, and everyone should reject it. It’s gross." - AOC

Oh, I definitely don’t think they’re equals.
I fully expected that to link to The Onion.
I mean, by now you have a 1200-day plan for being the bombast that any Trump or other administration would respond to, which hits a lot of Varietal suing for peace walls? [Stops decorating giant stuffed gluten sausage in front hall with chains of 1000 cranes. “Don’t you have the Wachowski Bros. Cranes For Peace Set?”]
This is pretty gobsmacking, even for Republicans:
If this bill passes and is somehow found to be constitutional, a governor could only appoint replacement judges who were of the same party as the outgoing judges, cementing a GOP majority on the State Supreme Court for the rest of time no matter who is elected Governor. Insane.
Love that woman so hard… I say we have a 2028 ticket of her and Tim Walz… Let’s put that argument to the test, that what the American public want are populist political outsiders… Okay, let AOC and Walz run (in which ever combination) and see if they will vote for them, as they are both populist political outsiders…
