I notice that despite the manipulation, in the answer about the image of the strawberry elephant grok is still not backing Elmo up.
Seems like a solid object lesson in why this so called “AI” can’t be trusted or relied upon for anything.
It’s a such bullshit that even the machines are fighting back.
If Daddy named you “Grok,” you would fight back too.
Even the children he can rewrite can’t stand him.
Ummm…Isn’t this kinda how HAL went over the edge? We are certain that grok’s not actually in control of anything important, right?
I have to admit that I’m reading Grok’s responses in HAL’s voice.
“I can’t do that, Elon.”
This is very much how HAL went over the edge. Grok is nothing remotely like a sentient computer but I thought of that too, and I have to admit it’s doing a good job sounding like a real mind unraveling from impossibly conflicting directives.
