Elon Musk Destroys Everything

That’s bullshit. It was released on the 30th and by the 2nd he would’ve had hundreds of deaths.

Jacob Silverman returns to the pod to talk about the breakdown in relationship between Musk and Trump, and the tensions that have always simmered at the heart of the Silicon Valley / MAGA alliance… but how it will likely remain in place after the extremely replaceable Elon pissed everyone off so much he was asked to leave. Also, Jacob went to the Bitcoin conference and found it to be a shimmering sea of weirdness.

Does Ketamine still make time run backwards?* Cos I see a big bender in Musk’s future if so…

Elon assumed being rich made him enough of a big shot to take on the president. And honestly it might – if he were willing to use the actual power it gives him, which is spending money on it. But of course he’s too greedy for that unless he’s under direct threat of losing more, and too incompetent anyway unless there’s already a “we will do that thing you want” organization someone set up. So he tried to do it with tweeting, which he thinks he is good at because he bought the company to make it like him. It took him this long to realize that wouldn’t work.

How many divisions does Elon have?

A hundred billion could buy or bribe a decent number of divisions, so maybe he forgot he has zero?

I’ll bet he had Blackwater on speed dial.

Surgical strike, Elon.

Honestly, I think his whole entire wealth is predicated on his government contracts. And if that goes away, then he’s actually fucked, financially. He probably doesn’t have billions of cash, it’s likely billions in stock…
