I think the issue is that, unfortunately, T**** won in several states with 100% paper ballots, that do ballot audits by hand. Ballot altering would have been detected between the paper ballots and the ballot counting machines. The other aspect is that the systems in states like Michigan and Pennsylvania are airgapped with controlled access. So who would have had access to enough ballot counting machines to make a difference, and yet it still hasn’t been detected?

The thing is, if there was hacking, the results at this point would imply “yes, and” instead of “yes, but.” As in, there could have been hacking and T**** also won more votes in swing states.

Just a reminder for everyone that the CFPB was set up to be self-funded through the Federal Reserve, with no money appropriated by Congress. This was meant to create a degree of independence and insulate it from bullshit political pressures, and is totally appropriate and legal. (The
Supreme Court even affirmed as much in a 7-2 ruling last year, in an opinion written by, to my great surprise, Justice Thomas)

So killing the Bureau isn’t going to reduce any government spending or reduce the deficit. But that’s obviously not the reason that they’re killing it. Those predatory payday lenders and Wall Street crooks have been trying to destroy the agency since day 1 and I’m not even sure if they were trying to claim that it would help consumers.
