I can’t imagine any rational person subjecting themself to that, unless they have serious financial problems, which probably is not the case for most retired ATCs.
Of course, there is an available pool of top-notch people who have the necessary skills or can be taught them. Pity they aren’t white males.

Elon promising to “speed up” the creation of the new Air Force One, reminds me of Magic Alex promising to provide Apple Records with a state-of-the-art recording studio.

So Musk is actively trying to kill our foreign service workers.
All of our diplomats and staff in Juba, Sudan, live on a single compound.
Today they woke up to find that all the vendors who provide them clean water, food, fuel, Internet, cell service, etc. ALL GOT TERMINATION LETTERS.

Looks like he sucks at targeting investors too. Not that I have much to invest either. I put $500 into a startup here a few years ago.
If he’s targeting tiny investors on Start Engine- maybe it says something good about his ability to raise funds now? Or lack thereof.
