Ew. Glad I’ve never set foot in the one local Steak n Shake. Just eating their french fries would leave me ill for a full week.

There are just so many better burger places. But then I don’t think they were ever that popular in my region.

Just the name of the place has kept me from ever entering one. First time i saw a sign for it, I laughed out loud that anyone would name a restaurant that. Eat a steak, i thought, with a shake? That’s disgusting!

Same here; they had them in my home state of Ohio and the food was subpar, even 30 years ago.
