Yup, as intended.

I think it was outputting that there were trans narratives in WWII films (I can’t think of any offhand, but why not?).

I suspect the ancient comedic (and dramatic) rope of cross dressing has statistically emerged along with current obsessions with transphobia, which has obviously been prioritised, to create utterly foolish output. But you know the old programmer aaying: Nazi In Nazi Out.

The NINO rule of AI.

The king of the golems, appearing in Feet of Clay. He was made by a group of golems with the assistance of Mr. Hopkinson and Father Tubelcek, and is the first to have been created in several centuries. Meshugah is white, with a clay crown molded on to his head. He also displays many cracks, which widen over the course of the novel.

Unfortunately, the golems were far too ambitious with their creation. They gave him far too many chems, all of which were impossible to fulfill. This drove the king completely insane

Well yeah, ancient tradition in arts and entertainment. Long predating Artificial Bigotry.

Not WW2 film, but certainly an ancient comedy…

“Selling his political party like a Tesla,” eh?

As of this moment the Tesla stock price has declined 9.5% over the last week. Still far too high, though.

They are mad there are black people who aren’t slaves on TV or women whose dialogue is more than sex or death grunts.

Having read the whole article, I think the author knows this.

(Though the use of the term ‘supercars’ is a little dissonant given that they are not anything like the usual use of that term. If the author was trying to be sarcastic they need to be more obvious.)

Having just read it in my own copy of Saturday’s Guardian magazine, I came here to post a link but of course someone (@womanhood_deferred) had beaten me to it. I’d recommend anyone to read it in full, as it is a pretty stark analysis of serious shenanigans at Tesla, with some common threads between a number of accidents this extract from a longer book examines.

I believe that there should be laws in every country where they are sold, to make all vehicle data immediately available to accident investigation authorities with 24 hours of any crash involving injury or death. Right now, Tesla decides what to release and often decides not to release anything. Apparently with no come-back. This is a wider public safety issue than just for Tesla drivers.

Tesla’s handling of crash data affects even those who never wanted anything to do with the company. Every road user trusts the car in front, behind or beside them not to be a threat. Does that trust still stand when the car is driving itself?

The Autopian has an article about this too and I liked this comment:

I was of course thinking of one of the most beloved films of all time!

But also, of course about earlier theatre. Among the more notable examples being English theatre during the period women weren’t allowed to act. It was all cross dressing. Of course the Lord Chamberlain didn’t make this up by banning women but rather codified misogyny. The interesting thing is of course that these gender swapped comedies regularly featured romances with ostensibly same sex people only for it to be revealed that actually, they were allowed fancy each other all along because they were a man and a woman (rather than the hero and the page boy of the person playing the part of the heroine in play, who was not the heroine but she was playing the part of the page boy!).

But of course they were actually two men outside the play in the real world.

And the audiences weren’t stupid! That was part of the kinky fun. More of it was how some boys were better at being women than the women you saw in the real world (to a significant part of the audience) or, actually terrible (as in some like it hot).

And this isn’t in any way uncommon in world theatre or art of any kind since forever anywhere.
